ACROSS THE DESERT

by Korperschwache

/
1.
like a plague enshrouded in darkness i creep across the land looking for you like a cancer i crawl through the bushes looking for you faithless an infidel undivided undeterred i can smell you your inner mounting flame i can hear you gasping for one last breath you can run but the rock will not shelter you you can run but the staff will not comfort you blinded by your own arrogance blind to what you left behind you cannot look back now you cannot turn back now you cannot look back now you cannot turn back now i can smell you your stench of fear fills the air i can hear you your screams of terror fill the air even with a knife in my back i am right behind you across the desert under a blinding sun with nowhere to hide and nowhere to run you cannot look back now you cannot turn back now you cannot look back now you cannot turn back now i remember a moment when i was foolish enough to trust you a mistake i will never make again and when i catch you i'll take the knife in my back and cut off your face and feed it to you -- rkf 11/25/14
2.
the knife in my back with "i love you" carved into the blade is centered so precisely between my shoulder blades always there like a sickness always just out of reach accusations hypocrisy learn to practice what you teach your words, so full of deceit how you can say such things and keep a straight face i'll never know your promises, worthless it is all in your hands you tighten the noose and you laugh your actions, so perverse you cannot make up your mind you cannot decide what you want you cannot handle what you need you cannot decide what you want you cannot handle what you need you cannot decide what you want you cannot handle what you need you cannot decide what you want you cannot handle what you need you cannot or you will not to me it's all the same the light in your eyes is like a beacon a searchlight lighting up night fog one moment your eyes are bright with hope one moment your eyes are dead, dark holes i don't know you anymore do you even know yourself is there something left there while the rest goes swirling into the void? how i'll laugh when the blade you buried in my back is buried in yours the day of reckoning is coming for you (x many) sooner or later everyone gets what they deserve rkf -- 12/20/14
3.
suspended in twilight on the edge of the abyss always hovering always on the verge the light at the end of the tunnel never comes closer the light at the end of the tunnel can never be reached the light at the end of the tunnel is the delayed light of a dying star when your soul bursts into flame and it leaves a burn that never quite fades that is when you'll know like light slowing down enshrouded in darkness never quite becoming light the black hole you call your soul is a slave to entropy shaking itself slowly apart this is how you become eternally hovering on the edge enshrouded in darkness enshrouded in darkness like a slow burning flame that never quite disappears how does it feel to know your unbearable condition will never be resolved never never rkf 12/21/14
